The government officially announced a state of emergency due to the fact that the number of Covid-19 cases has been increasing daily.
Given that situation, there are some convenience stores and supermarkets, which are one of the essential infrastructures in Japan, and I would highly appreciate for people who are still working in the filed.
In order to sustain this crucial infrastructure during this uncertain situation, one of the key things is to keep consumers and employees safe.
But the question is HOW? There are several ways you, as Retail store, can take since I have seen some cases here in London.
The easiest way to do is to put plastic tents around cashiers, limit the number of people in the store at a time, apply 2m distancing rule inside and outside of the store.
And to step up further, might need to consider how to limit human contact as much as possible using the existing infrastructure and technologies at a minimal cost.
