話を聞かないのは問題ですが、とろとろコミュニケーションとるのは更に問題かと。口頭でもメールでもチャットでもなんでも要点端的に伝えてほしい。スピード勝負ですから。
そもそも天才肌の人は回転が速い分早口な人が多いですし、じっくり考えてても的を得た内容の発言が多いので、会話が苦手とは思ったことないです。聞き取りにくかったりするくらいです笑Speed is a double edged sword. In a consumer’s market, we want services and goods “right now.” We become impatient when loss of time is an inconvenience.
There is value in slowing down the pace. One way is to ask questions. If you are used to asking one question, the challenge is to change your behavior to ask at least three questions.
You choose the order in which you ask the What-How-Why or Why-How-What questions. Then develop the questions to closely align with your strategy and objectives.
When I interview people who want to work with my business unit, I prepare myself to address these questions.
Why do you exist? “We are here to #CreateOpportunities for our clients, our people, and our communities.”
How do you do this? “We achieve this by promising to know you and to help you.”
What is it that you do? “We deliver tax, audit, accounting, bizops and wealth advisory services that compliment your needs and increase value to your organization’s purpose.”
