'Abraham Accords are going to continue shaping the Middle East'

As this week marking the 1 year anniversary of the signing of the #AbrahamAccords also falls on Yom Kippur, my own personal journey as a bridge building practitioner of not only Japan but also the Middle East is inspiring much of my own reflection regarding the powerful lessons of kizuna, the deep connections that bind us together as people. In Washington, representatives from each of the countries involved in the historic agreement gathered to celebrate the anniversary, as did their counterparts here in New York. As noted in this piece, when we are willing to collaborate multilaterally, we can build bridges that lead us to extraordinary cooperation and peace. In the spirit of this reflection and hopes for a brighter future, I hope we can be further encouraged to practice kizuna as leaders and forge even greater connections on the global stage.
