  This brings to mind a couple of words like “fall guy” or “scapegoat” when people who fear the plight of losing power try to shift blame or responsibility to another person.
  
  Character and integrity are always caught in the middle of difficult situations. It’s easy to be tempted to compromise your core values when a problem you have to act on may negatively impact you or people close to you.
  
  STUFF happens and who we have close to us can either build us up or bring us down. I view STUFF in two ways.

  I try to surround myself with people willing to accept my shortcomings and I try to reciprocate with the same level of kindness and empathy.
